REZOUND — Sound Bath in Hudson, QC

Rezound is a Halifax-based music group producing sound baths, immersive concerts, and improvised performances. Audiences are invited to relax, breathe, stretch, and settle in however feels comfortable. Mats, pillows, and other comfort aids are welcome. Each performance is shaped by the space it's in, whether that's a yoga studio, a church, a barn, or a forest floor. In Hudson, that means a sound bath built around the warmth and openness of the yoga studio itself.

Two distinct sessions, two distinct moods:

5pm — Duet (Ryan + Jessie): Ground ($25)
Soft, spacious, and built for arrival. Ryan and Jessie's long-developed musical language unfolds gently, an intimate entry point for unwinding and easing into stillness.

7pm — Trio (Ryan + Jessie + Tim): Explore ($25)
Layered, dynamic, and exploratory. Tim joins on keyboard, vocals, and other instruments, expanding the duet's intimate exchange into a fuller, more immersive sonic journey.

Ryan Veltmeyer — Cofounder of Rezound, composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist. Ryan uses simple loop and delay pedal techniques to live-arrange musicians in real time. Everything is improvised on the spot: vocals, drones, instruments, and gentle whispers invite listeners to step out of the hustle of daily life and sink into an immersive sound environment, a musical moment for centring and breathing.

Jessie Tesolin — A classically trained cellist with years of experience across bands, ensembles, and the local conducting scene, Jessie brings deep musical range to this sound bath. Her longtime collaboration with Ryan has grown into an improvised language of sensitive, emotional exchange between cello and voice, forming the intimate core of the 5pm duet and the expanding heart of the 7pm trio.

Tim Walsh — A Hudson, QC based musician and educator, Tim brings a deep well of musical listening and instinct to Rezound's sound bath. Years of playing across genres and styles have shaped an ear highly attuned to texture, space, and feel, qualities he draws on as he joins Ryan and Jessie's improvised language on keyboard, vocals, and other instruments. His sound adds new color and dimension to the evening, expanding the duet's intimate exchange into a fuller, more exploratory sonic environment.
